A short biography

Yossi Spiegel is the Louise Lea Flack Chair in Game Theory and Interactive Decisions, Coller School of Management, Tel Aviv University and a research fellow at the CEPR and ZEW. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northwestern University (1991), M.A. in Economics from Tel Aviv University (1987), and B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University (1985). Before joining Tel Aviv University he was a member of technical staff at the Economics Research Group at Bell Communication Research for three years. He serves as the president of the Israeli Economic Association, as a member of the Economic Advisory Group on Competition Policy (EAGCP) for the Chief Competition Economist in the European Commission’s DG Competition, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Competition Economists.
